Ethics statement
As an ethical wildlife photographer, my aim is to capture nature’s beauty, interactions and lessons of survival as I saw it at the time. Each image represents a moment in time that authentically reflects wildlife in their natural habitat.
All images on this website were captured in RAW on a Sony digital camera and post processed to reproduce the original scene.
I do not construct composite images other than stitching together multiple images to generate panoramas (aspect ratio 2:1 or wider). I do not clone within my photographs other than to remove camera sensor dust spots or very occasionally to remove minor transient elements outside my control while maintaining the authenticity of the scene. Any excessive noise from high ISO captures (shot in low light conditions) is managed in Lightroom or similar post production software.
This commitment to authenticity is not just about preserving the scene as it was; it’s about fostering a deeper connection between viewers and the natural world to promote coexistence on our shared planet. My hope is that each photograph inspires a sense of wonder and a call to action to protect our shared planet.
